Stefanie Nees wrote this
Stefanie Nees wrote the following poem;
We’re tired, weary, broken; the pain we’ve endured is un-spoken.
Its driven us out of our minds.
Fought us for our hearts.
Tried to take us away, tried to make us deny who we really are, in Christ.
Feeling weak and worthless we don’t think we can do this.
But that’s not true, for we are not what we’ve done, said, thought, or even how we have lived.
One day we’ll see that these things were just feelings.
Fleeting emotions.
No matter how real they seemed.
They were always hollow empty things, made to break us down, and knock us out.
But if we stand, strong, and grounded in truth, we’ll overcome.
Stronger not in our own power.
But in that of the ultimate tower.
Whose shadow is always over us.
Whose hand is there to help and lead us.
Through Him, we are perfect, completely loved, and greatly cherished.
Though we won’t see this until that day, when we leave earth, this place we call home, and fly to the heavens, where we will eternally roam.
The pain will be no more.
The heart-broken will be shown love, un-conditionally.
The hurting will be healed.
The victims will be protected.
The rejected will be drawn in and held.
The lonely will always have company.
We’re safe.
We’re saved.
All those horrid emotions are thrown far away.
That is what I want to happen, this is where I want to stay.
Next to You my Lord; with all my loved ones. Forever together.
With not a tear or hurt in sight. Eternally in the Light.
Isn't this beautiful?
Good job Stef. From the depths and paths and journeys you've faced you've gained so much wisdom. Not only does it show and reside within you, it shows within your writing and is beautifully formed with words that describe pain yet show the hope that's within the pain.

Hey beautiful.
I would say "I miss you." But yeah, it is true though.. even though we never really talked when we met each other. You amaze me. You truly do. Your depth of beauty and love never cease to make me smile and thank God.
